1946 Karlakór Reykjavíkur medal
Brass medal issued in 1946 by Karlakór Reykjavíkur (Reykjavík Men’s Choir) to commemorate its 20th anniversary (1926–1946) and the choir’s song tour to America. Obverse features a central musical staff with notes and treble clef, flanked by “1926” and “1946”, surrounded by the text “KARLAKÓR REYKJAVÍKUR” and “TUTTUGU ÁRA” within a laurel wreath. Reverse displays the text “Söngurinn göfgar” at the top, “Söngför til Ameriku 1946” in the center, also enclosed by a laurel wreath.
