Iceland 1972 Fischer Spassky postcard

This is a commemorative postcard issued by the Icelandic Chess Federation (Skáksamband Íslands) for the 1972 World Chess Championship match between Boris Spassky (USSR) and Bobby Fischer (USA) held in Reykjavík. The front is a detailed black-and-white line drawing of the match hall interior: a stage with large chessboard display (showing positions A-H, 1-8), clock, FIDE logo, Spassky and Fischer seated at the table, audience flags (USSR and USA), plants, and banners including “SPASSKY” and “FISCHER”. The artwork is signed “Gísli Sigurðsson” and printed by Endurprent (offset lithography).
