King George IV whisky token

This is a circular promotional token for King George IV Scotch Whisky. The obverse features a raised central bottle of King George IV whisky with label text “King George IV” and a portrait medallion of King George IV below. Two opposing arrows cross behind the bottle. The token is made of brass with a dark patina finish.

These tokens were issued to pubs, collectors, or as giveaways to promote the brand, common to loyal customers or stockists in the early to mid-20th century.
