Hungary 1000 Forint 1998 Banknote
Hungarian 1000 forint banknote issued on 1 September 1998 by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank. The front shows King Matthias Corvinus (Mátyás király), the reverse features the Hercules Fountain from the Royal Palace at Visegrád. Designed by Károly Vagyóczky. Size 154 × 70 mm. Part of the redesigned forint series introduced in the late 1990s. Demonetized in 2007.
