Hungarian 2000 forint banknote dated 2004. The front features a portrait of Gábor Bethlen, Prince of Transylvania. The reverse shows Bethlen with his scientists, based on the painting by Viktor Madarász. Designed by Károly Vagyóczky. Size 154 × 70 mm. Dark brown and brown on multicolour underprint. Part of the series introduced in 1998. Pick #190c. Demonetized in 2017.
